I don’t usually post about politics on my blog but I was having coffee this Saturday with some friends and they were talking about how social media is changing the face of politics. They brought up Congressmen John Fleming and his initiative to force the legislature to live with the same government health plan that they pound out to the US people. It honestly was a DUH! moment for me. You mean they wouldn’t be required to be on this plan?
Whether you in favor of a government run health plan or not, don’t you think that our representatives should have to live with whatever plan they think is good enough for us? I do! If you agree you can find out more about asking your reps to get on board with this plan here. Interestingly enough, only one rep in Colorado has shown that he would be willing to share the same health care plan that us commoners are being asked to buy into. I guess I have some letter writing in my future. There is a nice template here if you would like to as well.

yes, I agree, they should have to put up with the same plan we would. But, it will never happen, they would never subject themselves or their families to the sort of plan we would end up with.
Oh man, I totally agree! Hilarious (NOT really) to see that they want to live a double-standard! Grr.
What they may have to go to a dr. office,sit on bad chairs, have little angles running all over WITH ALL THERE COMMON GERMS . JUST THINK HOW LONG THIS WOULD LAST?
