It takes a long time for seeds to mix, spread, adjust to the soil, before a great flower can bloom and meet all of its potential. time is on your side the sun will come out and the clouds will go away and your garden will produce many great things.(including a tree) The little old lady in Az.

I guess it is just never easy. I am completely convinced that I am a desert soul with a beach longing. Not a woodsy, country kinda gal.

Thanks for your insights

I understand. We moved from Chicago to Portland OR about 10 years ago and there were plenty of good, bad and ugly aspects for us too. Today, I’d never consider moving back to the Midwest again. We’ve grown to absolutely love it out here. I’ve been to Colorado several times and think it’s a great place to live--so beautiful with its mountains and all that sunshine. We considered moving there but, frankly, had had enough of winter after living in Chicago for so many years. I hope you and your family will find happiness there--or that you’ll find someplace that may be even better for you. :-)
