Exciting news! I have moved blogs. I am in the process of slowly moving all the posts over. Please join me at MomOffTrack.com.
We are making a visit to Las Vegas last week of this month. I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Besides the Luna’s and the Lax’s, I really want to see the my unschoolin’ friends. I can’t believe how much they fed my soul and motivated me. I have a real yearning to just sit and talk and have the kids run free. I have been catching up on all of my old friends blogs today and I wanted to share with you all people who motivate me to be a peaceful, happy person and continue with unschooling when I am unsure of myself and my motivations.
Elizabeth-one of my all time favorite people. She is just so peaceful and cool!
Tara-when I grow up I want to be as good of a person to the Earth and others as Tara is.
Darlene-An absolute kick in the pants. That is all that needs to be said! I love her ability to make me laugh.
Amy-one of the wisest women I know. She turned me onto alot of the natural cures that have been helping my headaches and Carters leg. Her kids are some of the coolest I have ever met.
Stephanie-One of the best writers I love to read. Turned us onto a love of letterboxing.
Miranda-One of the most inspiring people I wish I had more time to learn from.
Hopefully, I will be able to connect with you all at the park but if not, I want you to know that reading your blogs helps me feel connected and grounded. I may not always comment but I do hold you all in my hearts!

And don’t forget to add your blurb to that list – the one who always made us laugh and fit right in on day one with our motley bunch of families! Miss you too!
Awww, shucks, Barb. You’re too kind. Makes me want to go get some inspiring stuff on my blog again… You would be bonk-on-the-head # 3 from the Universe to do just that!
Thanks again for the kind words. Wish we did have more time together!
Barb,
You make me laugh and inspire me! I am so happy I have your blog (dont know why I did not before). I am blogging again on my family blog! Whew hard to keep up with 3 websites!
I want you to know how Carter still inspires my children to understand others who dont look like them or walk like them and see them still as people and potential friends. One day we saw a show where a boy who had SB and was in a wheel chair and could still do back flips at a skate park in his wheel chair and teaches other kids to do the same. The both of them said our friend Carter is like that I wonder if he would like to learn to do a back flips in his wheel chair? and then they said they missed him and thought his bother was cool too.
Thanks and I cant wait to see you all, I love you,
Darlene
PS just in case you dont have our family blog

Hey Barb, I was reading The Organic Sister’s blog and saw a comment from you about meeting at the park. I thought “Barb is moving back! Ya!”
I haven’t been on your blog for a while but have been poking around just now. Looks like you have been busy and I’m so happy that the boys are loving Colorado.
